All you need for your stay in Tignes...
Alpaka Lodge

You'll think you're sitting in some cool forgotten old front room when you sink into one of the sofas in this Le Lac institution. Tony and his bar crew provide great service to help you through the cocktail list, and it's easy to lose a few hours chatting to locals at the bar or if you've had a few, to the numerous dogs that accompany their owners here. Or Oscar the Irish Wolfhound, who lives there. You'll get hungry too, with the smells wafting in from the fine restaurant next door. Try the nightly 3-courser or the Sunday roast. xx

Bagus Bar

A friendly cocktail lounge bar open every day from 4pm-2am.  Daily happy hours 4pm-6pm, 2 for 1 cocktails 6pm-8pm, free wifi, resident DJs/Live music, bar snacks and a big screen TV for the big games.

Blue Girl
Ah the Blue Girl. Some nights it's a strip joint lapdancing kind of place, and the girls greet you at the door wearing not much more than a wink each. The general consensus on this one is a pair of shrugged shoulders - a visit is normally accompanied by a complete inability to remember it. Maybe when you leave, they zap you with that memory destroyer pen-sized thing like in Men In Black?
Chameleon
Couloir

A stunning bar and restaurant set in Val Claret.  Beautiful bar staff, fantastic tunes and great food in the upstairs restaurant.

Daffy's Tex Mex Cafe
Reports have varied on the imagination contained in the Mexican food here - they've ranged from average to OK. Nevertheless, the enchiladas, burritos and fajitas come in big portions, and you can wash them down with bottled Corona, San Miguel or the odd shot of Tequila. The joint is pretty wallet-friendly so it's worth a look.

Drop Zone

Right next to the end of the pistes in Val Claret, Drop Zone provides a cool night out, offering drum and bass, reggae and electro hip hop DJ sets along with live apres music from the likes of Jukebox Mama.

Evolution 2 Cafe

The Evo 2 cafe is a neat place to sit in the sun in Val Claret and catch a quick lunch. Burgers, panninis, salads and pastas - all good solid fuel for a late afternoon park attack.

Grizzly's Bar

Loads of old carvings of bears and a roaring fire bring you in from the cold in this Val Claret bar. Right next to the end of the runs into town, it can be a bit fierce on the wallet.

Grotte du Yeti
This Dutch stronghold is in Le Lac, and gets seriously rowdy when the live music gets the crowds bouncing and moshing to anything with a guitar. Mixed reports mean we're not completely sure that anyone remembers what they drink when they're here, but needless to say it's a lot and it consists of plastic pints of standard lager and nameless shots of mystery spirits. A sweaty night guaranteed.
Jack's

Whether youve been going for a strike in the bowling alley or drinking in the other bars, Jacks Club is the ONLY place to carry on the party

Jam Bar

This Palafour pit stop is run this year by Tristan, Paddy and Bex and is a favourite with the seasonaires.  Located at the base of the jibbers favourite run, it is a great place to stop for a performance demi and panini.  Evenings can vary from a chilled place to have a quiet pint to super messy, quite literally jam-med theme nights.

Le Brasero

Once upon a time this Lavachet joint was an uninspiring French restaurant, but now it's been done up and offers a very creative menu in a relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Chilled sounds, squashy sofas, moody lighting and Sky TV make the bar area a haven of comfy lounging-aroundness - the ideal place to wind down and get away from some of the more hectic bars, unless you have too many Leffes on one of their live music nights.

Le Studio
A cool and cozy French bar in Val Claret, it's a good place to brush up on your parlance, kick back with a glass of wine and watch a game on the tv.

Les Caves du Lac

This hidden away club struggles every year to make itself known.  This year it is back to being French run and the anglo crowd don't appear to have been enticed yet.  Might be worth checking out but don't work there if you want to get paid... no I'm not bitter!

Melting Pot
Tignes' best club. Period. As with every club in every ski resort on every planet, it can be prone to playing dodgy Euro-house-techno, but usually the tunes are hip-hop or rock and the young riding crowd is well up for it. Best to get tanked up before you get there, as the drinks prices can be fierce - once you're in and wiggin' out, it shouldn't be too long before you're pestering the fitty dancing next to you. Open til 4am.
Saloon

Infamous in Val dIsere and now in Tignes.  A cool and crazy party bar that promises much fun; great party tunes and a damn good time.  Big screen for the footy and some tasty snacks on offer.

Scotty's

With the perfect ski-in apres location, stiuated in the heart of e Lavachet, Scottys Bar offers the liveliest atmosphere and hearty bar food!  Whether its live music at apres, sinking the 24-1 cockatails (16h-18h & 21h-22h) or catching up with the fotty Scottys is always the plalce to be.

The Loop

Located opposite the Rosset char lift offering big lunches, legendary burgers, super sunny terrace, live music, DJs and 1.5L pitchers of beer in Happy hour.  Quite simple the BEST APRES SKI BAR IN TIGNES!

Veronicas

Euro beats bang from the PA system, and everyone loses themselves on the dancefloor in drunken tomfoolery.
